Photographs as evidence!

I walk in. My eyes skitter around the room to find images along the walls. Multimedia- the first word to come to mind. I’m confused. I thought Senior Capstones are supposed to be… more? The photographs with paint seem understated so I come in with an immediate bias. I sigh and walk to the first image on the left. It’s a teddy bear holding onto a box of tissues. Alright this gallery seems to be trying to appeal to emotions. I walk in front of the next image and I stop. I stare. I smile. The hands of an elderly couple sit tightly yet gently intertwined within eachother, and a needle has binded the hands together in age. I fall instantly for the piece! I walk around the room caught and entranced by each work. I am reminded that art doesnt have to be elaborate to carry weight, and I dispell an unconscious bias.
